Hola mis chic@s!!!

Estoy muy emocionada, dentro de unas pocas semanas en Barcelona se celebran el 080 y Brandery Winter Edition, y en Madrid, Cibeles, bueno, o recientemente llamada, Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, se llame como se llame, el caso es que se va a respirar estilo y va marcar un año más, historia en el mundo de la moda,( prometo fotos y reportages completos!)
Historia como la que han marcado iconos del mundo de la moda y diseño como Mary Quent, la inventora de la minifalda, o Barbara Hulanicki, la creadora-fundadora de BIBA, y si, vuelvo a insistir en mis iconos de los años 60 y 70, pero es que parte de lo que me trajeron los reyes lo he invertido en el DVD "Beyond BIBA, a portrait of Barbara Hulanicki", y una biografía y libro de fotos de Mary Quant, así que estoy enfrascada en los montones de fotografías nuevas y millones de palabras llenas de información, estilo, glamour y inspiración acerca de estas dos mujeres, que junto a mi amado YSL, forman mi trio de "diseñadores-its", Total Love hacia ellos.

Hy my darlings!!!

Im so emocionated, in a just few weeks it cames to Bareclona 080 and Brandery Winter Edition, and on Madrid, Cibeles, well, or recently re-named Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, it names how it names, that really cares is we gonna breath style and write one more year, history on the world of fashion,(I promisse pictures and complenty reports!)

History as it was writted by Icons on the world of fashion and designers as Mary Quant, the mini-skirt creator, or Barbara Hunaicki, BIBA´s crator-foundator, and yes, i return to insist on my Icons from 60´s and 70´s in fashion ambit, but is cause part of what "Reyes Magos" gave me, I spend it in buy the DVD"Byond BIBA, a portrait of Barbara Hulanicki" and a biography and book of pictures from Mary Quant, then im so involved in the lots of new pictures and thousends of new words fulled of information, style, glamour and inpiration about thooe two womens, that together my beloved YSL, they formed my trio of "it-designers", Total Love to them. 
This is why thoose Sunday Pictures are for them!

Tota Love to that DUDU

Rainbow Saloon, En donde se veían alas estrellas más famosas de la época/ where you could see tha most famous stars from the time.

Con ese look de Muñecas , Femme fatale de los 30-40 rennovada y adaptada a los 70, se presentaban las DUDU girl, y como no Twiggy, fué una de las caras representantes BIBA./ With this look of doll, femme fatale from 30´s-40´s renovated and adapted to the girl from the 70´s, it represents the DUDU girls, and of course Twigggy, was one of the represented faces from BIBA

Su propia marca de cosmetico, basados en los negros, azul oscuros, verdes intensos, purpuras o granates, unos ojos smokey muy marcados y labios muy intensos, pieles de porcelana como preciosas muñecas de aire ocuro/ his own cosmetic marc, based on black, deep blue´s, purples or burgunduries, so smokey eyes and marked lips, white skinis as a lovely dark angel´s doll.

Cada departamento tenía su propia decoración, su mayor represententa era la decoración del departamento de  moda predominaba la estética al más puro glamour de los años 20 y 30, con paredes en terciopelo granate y  decoracionescon motivos art decó, plumas y dorado, que tanto carácterizaba el estilo propio de BIBA, también llamado Dudu, como las chicas que lo vestían, toda una cultura aparte que se desarrolló al rededor del famoso local, Big Biba era un universo a parte, en los departamentos de hogar, podías comprar todos esos materiales, para decorar tu casa al estilo BIBA hasta el papel de pared o este favuloso espejo egipcio, o comprar comida  en el departamento de comestibles en donde esta se exponía en un mueble con forma del bote de "tomato soup" del famoso cuadro de Warhol, frutos secos en una gigantesca caja de cereales, como si de un gran comic se tratase o la comida para perros expuesta dentro de la figura de un perro basado en le perro de la misma Hulanicki, un danés llamado  Othello/ Every department was decorated by his own decoration, his bigest representation was the decoration of the fashion department where it was predominated  the stetic of the glamour in the most pure style of 20´s and 0´s gold era, with walls on burgundury velvet and decorations with art deco, feathers and gold, who really show the won style from BIBA, who was named dudu too, as the girl who drees it, a really big culture apart who was developed around of the famous building, the Big BIBA, was a real paralel universe, o the homeless department, you could buy all thse material fro wear your home in Biba style, even the wall paper or this favulous egiptien mirror, or buy food on the food department where the fod was exposed on a moble with "tomato soup" warhol´s famous picture, or nuts  inside a giant cereal box, as if in a big comic you was, or dog food exposed inside a big box who was dog shape, based on the dog of the same Hulanicki dog, named  Othello.

LA misma Hulanicki descrivía a sus DUDU girls;"postwar babies who had been deprived of nourishing protein in childhood and grew up into beautiful skinny people: a designer's dream. It didn’t take much for them to look outstanding.", y como dato curioso diré que una de las DUDU más famosas fué la actual editora de VOGUE(USA) Anna Wintour./Same Hulanicki descrives her DUDU girl´s that way; "postwar babies who had been deprived of nourishing protein in childhood and grew up into beautiful skinny people: a designer's dream. It didn’t take much for them to look outstanding.", and as curiosuty I could say one of the most famous DUDU of the time was the actual VOGUE(USA) editor Anna Wintour.

 

En serio mis chic@s, cada día estoy más segura de que yo me equivoqué de época......con ese estilo, ¿quien no querría ser una "Dudu Girl"?
